This Wednesday (02), Biopark hosted, in the auditorium of the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), the second edition of the Fish Farming Symposium of Western Paraná (SIMPOP), promoted by Aqua In – Aqua Insumos, an Ecosystem resident startup that brings technological and innovative solutions in the sector to producers.
The meeting brought together fish farmers, technicians, research centers, and speakers to discuss topics related to the area. “The objective is to generate discussions regarding information on products and services offered in this area, from medications, additives, equipment, and vaccines, to the product package insert with application dosage. Furthermore, we brought in partner companies precisely so that producers can clarify their doubts,” explains the veterinarian and owner of Aqua In – Aqua Insumos, Nilton Ishikawa.
As the state that produces the most tilapia in Brazil, representing more than 34% of the country’s total volume, the event is of great importance to the Region. “It is an excellent initiative between Aqua In and Biopark. And we can see that people’s interest in the subject is enormous, considering the more than 200 participants who were present. It is as if we have closed the link between industry, producers, and academia,” praises the global technical manager of Biorigin, João Fernando Koch.
For the vice president of Biopark, Paulo Almeida, promoting events with useful discussions and efficient solutions is one of the differentiators that attracts and retains companies within the Ecosystem. “It is one of the benefits offered by Biopark and what makes companies grow. We believe this is a key point and it is what we seek to develop every day,” he concludes.
