Last Friday (January 28), the graduation ceremony for the 4th Cycle of the Biopark Business Incubator took place. A total of 11 entrepreneurs were certified in a ceremony held at the auditorium of the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). The cycle ran from October 24 to April 24, in collaboration with Sebrae.
Throughout the program, the entrepreneurs were supported by a team of experts who helped consolidate their products in the market. Participants also had access to a formative itinerary covering Technology, Market, Capital, Management, and Entrepreneurship, which contributed to the growth of their businesses and increased their revenue.
Felipe Guedes, the owner of Vision Tecnologia, a company that develops websites and software, stated that participating in the Incubator changed his life as an entrepreneur. “From the beginning, I knew that the added value of the investment made for my company and for me would be very high. That’s why I did my best to absorb all the resources Biopark offered me. We managed to create a very professional foundational structure, which allowed us to keep growing gradually and financially in a healthy way,” he shares.
The entrepreneur highlighted that networking was one of the standout moments of his experience in the program. “I closed more than 21 services within the park and received amazing feedback, thanks to learning about management and quality paths. For me, the greatest lesson was differentiating a traditional company from a startup and discovering how to scale my business in a healthy way without compromising quality,” he notes.
Germano Rezende de Almeida, owner of GR Automações, also participated in this cycle. He emphasized the intensity of the program’s content. “We worked on the five pillars of knowledge pathways with the support of the mentor sponsor. What I learned most was the legal aspect, as it helped me understand some contracts and their importance in structuring the company for growth and attracting investment with the arrival of product developers for society,” he emphasizes.
