“Being at the Bioparque is a great opportunity because all the time goes to new companies, and comes with a brand that needs a marketing agency to create a logo, website and everything necessary to position them in the market”, with this reflection, Shemnom López Serrano, general director of the Chilean company Sócrates, shows its focus company in the opportunities that the Ecosystem offers.

For more than 30 years, Sócrates has operated in Chile in the technology segment and offers innovation, project, development, artificial intelligence and marketing services. It was through a recommendation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – ProChile, that a new story began to be written on the tray of the family that came to Brazil to expand and find new opportunities. “We were always ready to open a company in Curitiba and, when we received the mail from ProChile, we were told that we had established a Biopark, we started a market study and discovered that we would have a prosperous future if we opened an international company in the Technological Park, and that's what we did”, highlights Serrano.

In four months, Sócrates grew 110% in Bioparque. The company also has clients in Chile, Colombia, the United States and Switzerland, with more than a thousand projects delivered. In addition to the five family members who currently work, this year they hope to hire one of the most designers and a programmer. Today, I believe that Sócrates is a company that has grown and consolidated very quickly. Arriving in Brazil

Shemnom López Serrano was the first to arrive in Brazil. After spending two years as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I decided to return to the culture, hospitality and joy that I found here. The political and economic situation in Chile also had factors that influenced the decision.
