Proposals, quotations and projects

Commercial proposals may define scope, objectives, deliverables, stages, pricing, payment terms, included revisions, responsibilities and estimated timelines.

Additional work outside the originally approved scope may be quoted and contracted separately.

Material changes requested after approval of a project stage may affect timelines, costs and project planning.

Acceptance of a proposal means that the client understands and accepts its scope and specific conditions.

Pricing, billing and payments

If the client delays information, materials, access credentials or approvals required for the project, planned dates may be adjusted.

When a project depends on platforms, APIs, suppliers, hosting services, domains, external tools or third-party approval processes, timelines may also be affected by circumstances outside our control.

Client responsibilities

To enable us to properly provide our services, the client agrees to provide the information, materials and access credentials required for the project in a timely manner.

The client represents that it has the necessary rights or permissions for any text, photographs, videos, trademarks, databases, documents or other materials supplied for use in a project.

The client is also responsible for reviewing and approving content, data, configurations, designs and deliverables before final publication whenever the project workflow provides for such approval.

Intellectual property

Designs, developments and materials created specifically for a client will be subject to the intellectual property terms set out in the relevant proposal or contract.

Unless otherwise agreed, transfer of rights relating to final deliverables may be conditional upon full payment of the related services.

Tools, methodologies, systems, reusable components, libraries, frameworks, base code, know-how, structures, techniques, templates and pre-existing resources used to produce a project may remain the property of their respective owners.

Third-party resources such as fonts, photographs, plugins, software, music, video, APIs, templates or platforms are subject to their own licenses.

Use of artificial intelligence

Certain creative, technical, strategic or production processes may incorporate artificial intelligence tools to support professional work.

These technologies may be used for research, ideation, analysis, programming assistance, automation, generation of alternatives, visual production, content optimization or other project-related activities.

Our approach seeks to maintain human supervision, creative judgment and review over the solutions we develop.

Third-party services and platforms

Our projects may integrate third-party solutions including hosting, domains, email, social networks, payment services, APIs, software, plugins, cloud platforms, analytics, artificial intelligence and other services.

These services are subject to their own terms, policies, availability, pricing and changes.

We do not control technical, commercial or contractual decisions independently made by those providers.

Cancellations, suspension and refunds

Cancellation, suspension and refund conditions will depend on the nature of the service and the specific conditions agreed with the client.

Where work has already begun, completed work, hours performed, licenses purchased, activated services, third-party costs and completed project stages may be considered when determining any outstanding balance or refund.

Nothing in these conditions is intended to exclude mandatory rights available to clients or consumers under applicable law.

Warranties and operation

We work to deliver professional solutions in accordance with the approved scope and specifications.

Digital environments constantly evolve. Updates to browsers, operating systems, plugins, servers, platforms, APIs or external services may subsequently affect how a project operates.

Future maintenance, support or adaptation is included only where it forms part of the contracted service or an active support plan.

Limitation of liability

Sócrates Creative Studio will be responsible for its own services within the limits established by applicable law and the relevant contractual terms.

Except where the law provides otherwise, we are not responsible for interruptions, losses or damages directly caused by systems, platforms, providers, infrastructure or third-party services outside our control.

We also cannot guarantee specific commercial outcomes, sales levels, rankings, audience, conversions or profitability when those outcomes depend on multiple external factors.

Confidentiality

When we receive confidential information required to perform a project, we will seek to use it only for purposes related to the relevant service.

Where a project requires specific confidentiality conditions, these may be formalized through a non-disclosure agreement or additional contractual provisions.

Privacy and personal data
